1.   Learn to Sew ‘Back to Basics’
   

This Course takes you Back to the Basics of sewing, structured for those who are first time sewer, to someone who can sew or have taught themselves. This class has something for everyone.

The course begins with an introduction to the equipment used in sewing; needles, haberdashery items etc., threading , cleaning and oiling of your Sewing Machine, to the different feet that come with your machine and their use. Moving on to creating your own reference book of samples with the different techniques used in sewing Seams, Hems, and Closures eg: Zips, Buttons & buttonholes etc., concluding the course with, “How to Read a pattern”. (Understanding that pattern terminology on the packet, to, selecting you garment size)

Class notes, material and workbook are supplied  in this course.

2 day class- Sat (1pm - 5pm) & Sun (9a.m. –  5p.m.)
